In 2017, I was a Product Owner of a web application at Société Générale: in the Amazon Cloud, and linked to the brand, its goal was to manage the whole Group’s domain names (more than 6,000) and DNS entries (over 25,000).
It was necessary to juggle moving priorities and a small team. But also to increase the skills of the internal teams on Agility and Cloud. Not to mention the governance difficulties of large groups and the rareness of business skills.
As a Product Owner, it was important to focus on communication and diplomacy. Play organizational stress and sound minds to understand the real needs of each. Have courage and take initiatives, don’t hesitate to share your problems or to surround yourself to find solutions quickly.
Following the implementation of the application, and until 2019, I managed this area of expertise. I led a community in the corporate social network, to share such special skills and promote mutual help.
Thanks to this project and the automation and rationalization processes, the workload of the department has been divided by 3. The number of tickets sent to the support has decreased by half, the errors in the requests by 75%.
Today, I help IT managers to accelerate the time to market for their projects, manage the organizational difficulties of large groups, boost their teams.
