I joined the Carrefour Group in 1999. Within the Merchandise and Marketing Department, I was a textile buyer for France, Spain, Belgium and Italy. My main missions were:
• The purchase price negotiation of massive products.
• Interface between logistics and common suppliers.
• Procurement, quality tracking and shipping.
• The management of GlobalNetXchange, for internet auctions.
7 years later I returned to the Retail giant, but as a Consultant at Accenture. I participated in the convergence project of their SAP ERP to Oracle PeopleSoft (Carrefour Global Solution Delivery).
These 2 experiences, first as a profession and then as a consultant, allowed me to measure the impact of the operational processes of the European leader in the distribution sector. This market continues to moult. With the gigantism of the 80s-90s, the signs now prefer proximity. The hatching of the drive and the boom of bio are also moving the lines.
Currently, my added value comes from my knowledge of the group from the inside, and my skills in digital. Assets when the group is in full digital transformation, as today, to improve the digital consumer experience.
